“A star like a street-lamp left on high.”

John Gould Fletcher, "Irradiations", 1915

This gallery is not one city. New York in black and white, once from high above the rooftops, once down a wet street strung with Christmas lights. Las Vegas at blue hour, fountains and neon. Helsinki in the cold, a frozen harbor, snow on the benches, the cathedral above the water. Two more I will not place: a night highway, and a whole city bent into a sphere.
