Butterflies

Frames from open ground: dried thistle heads, grass stems, small white flower clusters. The same orange wing with black and white spotted margins recurs in eight of them, two show a pale cream butterfly with black veins and tailed hindwings. Wings are closed in nearly all. Two frames are shot into a low sun, one against blue sky, the rest onto soft green and olive that dissolves to nothing.
