“The old star-eaten blanket of the sky”

Two different nights in one set. Most of it is dry open country, the Milky Way band with its core plainly visible, and long exposures that turn the stars into circles around the pole or into diagonal streaks. The foregrounds are leftovers: a broken airliner, a scrapped fighter jet, an armored vehicle, a dead tree. Two frames are the opposite, green aurora over snow.
